day 0

I was diagnosed with PCOS and type 2 diabetes recently.
I've been trying to lose weight, it's not going so well...my biggest failing..eating out.

I'm in gradschool, mcdonalds is easy...what can i say?

To try to lose weight, i'm going to attempt an anti-supersize me...I am going to NOT eat ANY fastfood or restaurant food for a month.

This is making me anxious, I'm kinda a fast food junkie, and the idea of just quitting cold turkey, I dunno if i can do it...

This journal is to kinda just help me sort it, report what's going on, and help me focus.

Right now i'm at about 222lbs, down from 237lbs at the beginning of may when i was diagnosed with all of my health problems. It's good but it's not great. I hope that no junk food will help me move forward towards my weight loss goals...lets see anyways.

  1. You're probably going to get all kinds of tips from folks. :)

What helps me is to have snacks ready to go. I don't know what your diet is, but cheese really helps with sweet cravings. Just a few squares or so. And if you like boiled eggs, keeping those on hand provides a good snack that might keep you from going through the drive thru.

    Good luck!
